How is your wedding research unbiased?


Because Splendid Insights has no financial tie to any of the responses or wedding statistics in our wedding market research, we can present the data as is, without spin.

Here's what we mean by that:

Most of the wedding research currently available is provided by bridal media or tech companies who have a financial benefit in shaping the wedding market conversation.

Research that supports their profit-centers is made public (to entice more advertisers, for example), and research that doesn't is kept under wraps in-house in order to improve different areas of their own company. While this is fair (they foot the bill for that research, after all), it doesn't paint an accurate or complete picture of how today's engaged and newlywed couples are actually making their purchase decisions.

In addition, their research participants often consist solely of their existing readers, members, or product users. While this can be valuable insight into their specific customer base, it doesn't include people their marketing doesn't reach or who don't relate to what their brand offers.

In contrast, research participants for Splendid Insights are reached via the extensive international network we've developed of professionals, suppliers, merchants, and media publishers, both within and outside the global wedding industry.
